Scottish indie band Astrid have gifted us with their latest single, ‘Through The Darkness Of Your Life’. They formed back in the 1990s in Glasgow before disbanding in 2004 and later reforming in 2015. Their new track is an exercise in psychedelic pop with a deep message mixed with an interest in the occult. They describe it as being “about getting older and using past experiences and knowledge gained to really start applying it to your life.” Their brand of guitar-led pop music is catchy and addictive; they’ve really crafted a sound that is truly their own. -Dan Peeke
